We are Paul and Rachel, two blissfully newlywed neophytes with our own little ten-acre West Texas paradise. We raise Nigerian Dwarf goats, cats, horses, and plenty of Cain, constantly track mud into the house, dance in the kitchen, and enjoy Rawhide reruns maybe a little too much.

  1. Thank you for coming by my blog and leaving a comment. I’m following your blog now and am looking forward to reading about your adventures in West Texas. I grew up in Midland, btw.

  2. Oh wow! You are from Midland too. Small world. : ) I lived there the first 20 years of my life. I moved in 1992 and never looked back. I still have family there. Is your ranch near Midland?

    • I wasn’t born there, but I was there for about 12 years. We are about 4 hours from Midland now. I don’t like how the oil business changed it so much though. Kinda sad. It used to be a nicer place. I have family there too though.

  3. I’m enjoying the homey warmth of your blog. Maybe I should be taking notes. All the best. S.B.—fellow faithwriters member

  4. Hiya Rachel, just wondering if you’ve changed your gmail address? I haven’t seen a reply from my last emails to you, and I’d love to catch up. And wow, pigmy goats? My brother raises miniature ponies. God bless Peter
